Refund Tips

Cancelling an Order does NOT cancel the payment.  Use Issue Refund instead, available from the Payments Menu in the Order Manager.  Then cancel the order for inventory restocking and for Forms Report accuracy.

 

If it is necessary to refund an order, it is necessary to wait 24 hours before issuing a refund.  Your customer will have access to those funds quicker.

Whether you are an existing ePayTrak 4.0 user, or have been considering an ePayTrak implementation for your organization, we think you will find the enclosed information useful AND exciting! We have made improvements to ePayTrak during the past month, and just wanted to give you a brief overview of some of the more popular new additions.
 
Recent ePayTrak Upgrades & Improvements 
Easier customer navigation and data collection.
  • Customers now have the ability to add two or more items of the same class/product by adjusting the quantity and still have the ability to collect information from separate participants.  We've improved this feature by allowing you to toggle this feature on/off at the product level.  "Combine Like Items in Cart" is the toggle that controls this.  You can also activate this feature for all products on the Configure>Store page. 
  • Removed the American Express icon from the checkout page for ePayTrak sites that do not accept American Express credit cards to prevent customer confusion.
  • Added reminder text on the checkout pages for customers to check their participants for greater data collection accuracy before checkout.
Report Improvements
  • Improved Class Inventory Report.  Classes that have not had an initial purchase will now appear on Class Inventory Report.
  • The Forms Report will no longer display refunded transactions as long as the order has been cancelled.

    ePayTrak Tips
    • It is important to add a SKU number for each product or class in ePayTrak.  Many of the reports are built to use this field in compiling data.  One example is the Class Enrollment report which is one of the best options to generate a list of participants or people who have purchased a single product, class or service.  You can even export this report and sort by the last name of all participants!
    • Creating a new product/class?  It is often faster to duplicate an existing product and make edits, especially if you have formatted the description field.  If you have many products or classes to input, there is an upload function in ePayTrak that will save you considerable input time.
